CAJUN #SHRIMP #FETTUCCINE #ALFREDO #RECIPE
My cousin, Shantel, referred to as me final week. “Hey! I don’t see a Shrimp Fettuccine recipe in your YouTube channel. Can you do one?” Uhhh, YES! I’m so joyful she called, simply due to the fact I wanted a pasta recipe. Why no longer a classic?? This Alfredo sauce is fairly universal. It’s my staple white sauce recipe. It’s totally delicious and super fundamental to make.

  • 1 lb uncooked huge shrimp Don’t use these baby, salad shrimp in my dang recipe!
  • 3/4 of a 16oz pkg of Fettuccine pasta cooked**
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Herbes de Provence or Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 TBS olive oil

Recipe Notes

  • **Make the “okay” signal along with your hand. See that little circle your pointer finger and thumb made? That’s the quantity of pasta that have to be left over within the package. Cook the pasta according to package deal deal instructions. Once it’s done, turn off the heat, but do NOT drain off the water till you’re able to lay the pasta into the sauce. Just drain the water off then upload it into the sauce. Do NOT rinse the pasta.

You wanna recognise what grinds my gears? When I see these tiny, salad shrimp on this dish. You NEED plump, juicy shrimp for this! I made certain to season them with the proper quantity of flavors to enrich the sauce.

The spices I use are readily available. The just one which might be a tad hard to discover is the Herbes de Provence. It’s a french spice mix that's wonderful on seafood and assorted meats. It have to be within the spice part of your native grocer. But, you'll be able to sub Italian seasoning in case you happen to can’t discover it.

I practice my pasta according to pasta classes till it’s Al Dente. Then, rather of draining the water off, I take away the pot from the heat, and permit the pasta to sit within the water whereas I practice the sauce. This will preserve the pasta warm and in addition steer clear of it from drying out. When you’re able so as to feature the pasta to the sauce, just merely drain it and upload it in. Do NOT rinse the pasta! Doing so will water down the sauce and preserve the sauce from “sticking to” the pasta.

My Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo is so fundamental and quickly to make. I KNOW it'll be your new favourite pasta recipe. Dig the jarred stuff and make your individual delicious and creamy Alfredo sauce!
