We lastly began again to faculty proper ultimate here in our aspect of Virginia. We are after Labor Day starters here. Not gonna lie – it’s been a situation to get again into the swing of things. We’re all a bit of sluggish within the mornings proper now and breakfast is typically an afterthought. I made a number of FREEZER-FRIENDLY BREAKFAST BURRITOS for a fast breakfast but I needed anything new so as to feature into our morning breakfast-on-the-go routine. And boy, have I discovered it in those little bites of goodness!

CAN I FREEZE THE BREAKFAST ROLLS?
Absolutely! They can all be made and baked forward of time. Flash freeze them first on a baking tray. Then package deal deal effectively (for freezer protection.) When equipped to eat, merely reheat within the microwave. These are positive for breakfast at the go. Hand it in your kiddo as they head out to the bus or within the vehicle on how you can school.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
eggs
salt & pepper
refrigerated crescent rolls
cooked breakfast sausage links
American cheese

HOW TO MAKE SAUSAGE, EGG AND CHEESE BREAKFAST ROLLS:
Heat oven to 350°F. In small bowl, whisk collectively eggs.

Reserve 2 tablespoons crushed egg for brushing on tops of crescent rolls.

Scramble last eggs (adding salt and pepper, to taste).

Unroll dough onto work surface; separate into 8 triangles. Cut cheese slices in half; region 1 half on every triangle.

Top every with spoonful of scrambled eggs and 1 sausage link.

Loosely roll up triangles as directed on can.

Place rolls on greased cookie sheet.

Brush reserved crushed egg on ideal of every crescent.

Sprinkle freshly floor black pepper over each. Bake 15 to 18 minutes or till golden brown.

Rolls may be frozen then reheated within the microwave for about one minute.

Cook’s Notes: Fully cooked, frozen sausage hyperlinks may be used. Just cook dinner them within the microwave for about 30 seconds to thaw.
